Many of you must face this problem during the installation of an apk file from any software distributor site on web browsers. And also find some xapk file format documents on the place of apk format. So many of us don't care about it and as it have only one more latter that is "X".

When we successfully download this file and try to open this xapk file than it shows an error, and we should not able to run tat application in our mobile. If you also face the same problem so let's try to shoot out it and try to access the apk file from xapk file documents.

Question> What Are XAPK Files ??

Ans_> XAPK file is a package used to install Android apps on mobile devices. It is similar to the standard .APK format but may contain other assets used by the app, such as an .OBB file, which stores graphics, media files, and other app data. 

XAPK files are used for distributing apps on third-party Android app download websites. They are not supported by Google Play. You get the XAPK documents on common sites like "Apk pure".

Question> How Do I Open It ??

Well, opening an XAPK document is very easy. It's very easy with using an editor application.  So, without wasting our time let's start opening XAPK file.>>

Ans_>Here,I will use the editor application which was popularly named as "Apk editor pro". You can also use other applications like- XAPK Viewer or others. and for this tutorial, we will try to get the .apk and .obb file from "gnurootdebian.xapk" file , Which you get from the apk pure site. Once you get the .xapk file and an editor you are now ready to begin.>>>>>>

Step 1 -Download the APK editor app from Google play.(or from Here - Download)

Step 2 -Open the APK editor in your device.

Step 3 -Click on the "select an APK file" button which was on Top of the list.

Step 4 -Locate your xapk file location. Click on your .XAPK file.

Step 5 -You will see few thumbnails of application, It ask you to choose your application through which you want to open your document (.XAPK).

Step 6 -Click on Apk editor pro icon and open it.

Step 7 -You can see many files which was stored inside an xapk file.

Step 8 -Now , Install your .apk file from it ,through package installer.

Step 9 -And long press on your .obb file. You can see few options now.

Step 10 -Click on the extract button. And choose your folder from storage where you want to Save/extract it.

Step 11 -All Done, Exit the application. And paste the .obb file in the Android folder of your device.

Step 12 -Enjoy your application...
